Last fall we announced the intention to rebrand and bring our MNG product back to the table, but strategic thinking has changed the order of our timeline.
Based on our market research, we determined that our best first step was to put our marketing energy into an area that we were receiving the most inquiry, an all-natural pest repellent.
Not to fear, the MNG formula is currently being field-tested and once the repellent has found its footing in the market, we will put our focus on bringing our growth formula into the market.
In our field testing, we have found that our formula not only improves the health of the roots and plant growth overall, but it also changes the condition of the soil through continued use, raising its moisture retention considerably as well as reviving the beneficial microbes that keep the soil healthy. In farming and agriculture in general poor soil quality is making it harder to grow thriving crops. By finding an additive to boost the health of a plant while also creating a long-term regrowth of the condition of the soil we are making our formula a necessity.

Results of Testing Micro Nutrient Growth (MNG) Technology to Increase Algae Growth by 200% for Biodiesel Production
In the summer of 2008, Mr. LaStella completed a series of tests that indicated that the MNG formula was capable of increasing algae biomass production by 200% in a five-day harvest cycle.
For those who are not familiar with algae technology, perhaps we should cite a shortlist of six advantages of microalgae that will eventually transform the entire energy, materials, and food industries for humans on this planet and could eventually reverse Climate Change:
1. Algae produce 100 times more oil per acre than traditional food oilseed crops such as soy, etc., and algae can be a source for many biofuels, most notably biodiesel, which will provide energy independence and sustainability to the United States (NOTE: Algae produce at least 4,000 gallons of oil per acre per year versus 50 gallons of oil per acre for soy);
2. Algae eat CO2, the major Global Warming Gas, and produce oxygen;
3. Algae require only a little fertilizer, CO2, sunshine, and non-drinkable (salt or brackish) water;
4. Algae do not compete with food crops for either agricultural land or freshwater;
5. Algae can reproduce themselves (and their oil) as fast as every 6 hours, while it takes Mother Nature millions of years to produce crude oil in the ground; and,
6. Algae meal, a byproduct after oil extraction, is a highly nutritious, protein-rich (30-50%) food, which initially is used as animal feed and eventually will become a staple food to supply the world, i.e. bread, wafers, etc.
Mr. LaStella and his field team were the early pioneers of this technology. In the development of algae production systems and the development of the MNG microalgae booster formula. There is also a 10-minute video outlining the research of algae development including research facilities at the University of Baja California. The formula is a secret complex formula (trade secret) that would be very difficult if not impossible to duplicate by analysis.
Just a few years ago, if anybody would have mention algae as being capable of solving some of the worst problems on Earth it would have been viewed as almost an absurd idea. The potential for algae to solve major world problems is now a mainstream idea. The writings of Mr. LaStella have now become a cornerstone to the industry. Many have built on the ideas put forth by early pioneers to promote the algae concept to the point where it has been accepted by many companies, including Exxon-Mobile.
As a possible solution to Climate Change, the MNG micronutrient formula by itself is one of the greatest assets in this emerging worldwide industry. While governments and venture capitalist are pouring billions into algae research, all of the research requires one common denominator and that is to grow algae biomass faster, which our MNG formula has proven.
As mentioned before in the summer of 2008, Mr. LaStella made his research results known to the world. At that point a scientist from the well respected Midwest Research Institute (MRI), which for 20 years was a managing arm for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to oversee the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) along with Batelle National Laboratory, requested a sample for testing of the MNG formula. The formula was eventually given to the well respected Dr. John Lednicky, Principal Senior Scientist, Life Sciences Division at that time. As most scientists would probably view this new formula, his first impression was that there is no such thing. He thought that it would not work and he was hesitant to even test it. However, his curiosity led him to the testing of this product and resulted in the same conclusion that was obtained at the University of Baja California, Mexico.
In short synopsis (excerpt) of Dr. Lednicky's emails is as follows, “This growth formula worked on several different types of algae, both saltwater and freshwater.” This mysterious new formula then became of great interest. And the same test have been repeated many times over with the same results with different types of algae.
